Human connection is the backbone of any meaningful portrait and the driving force behind my work. It's the in-between moments, the snapshots that make up the story. The tears you didn't see as your mom helped you into your dress, your families reaction to your vows and your friends busting moves with grandma on the dance floor. Together these images create a visual story of the love that remains.
what to expect
A Mix of nostalgic film & Digital photos
Depending on which package you choose, I shoot a mix of both digital and analog photos throughout your wedding day or session. Film is nostalgic, effortlessly cool, and timeless.
Instead of doing all of your portraits in one big chunk (keeping your guests waiting foreverrr) I like to break up the portraits into short segments throughout the day. This way we get a variety of portraits of the two of you as the day unfolds, with a rage of emotions and light. Plus you'll want the 5 minute break with your new spouse. Trust me,
Throughout your day, I’ll be weaving in and out to make sure I catch every moment that may have gone unseen. That quick kiss during your candle lit dinner, the hand squeeze, the teary eyes laughs during speeches, the reception photos that put any 70's disco to shame.

My editing style is strongly inspired by film photography and cinematography. I keep things real with a little bit of *spice*. I prioritize editing ALL skin tones to look radiant and natural.
If you couldn't tell by these end of the night crappy iPhone selfies of me sweating with my just-married-glow-beautiful couples...I work my ass off for my people. I'm by your side when you need me, keeping track of your timeline so you don't have to and handing out tissues when you need it. I am making sure you don't have lipstick on your teeth and that your mascara isn't running.
I really do grow to love my couples during our time together and I'm so lucky to feel that love right back.

Not all of us dream of having a giant party with a 3 course meals, high energy DJs, bridal parties 20 people deep, and 5 tiered wedding cakes. Some of us want to go a more intimate route. That's the beauty of our generations approach to marriage. We do what feels right for us and nothing more and nothing less.

Lifestyle and portrait sessions are completely tailored to you. I'll have you fill out a questionnaire and we'll chat about what your envisioning and hoping to achieve. I love to mix film and digital during these sessions.
