I don’t think you’re even ready for how epic this Columbia River Gorge elopement is. Mercedes & Lucas are the type of people you just always want to be around. Lucas is top 10 funniest people I’ve ever met and Mercedes is sweeter than Ice cream on a hot summer day. Which is exactly what we did for their engagement session. These two knew from the jump they wanted to elope. Covid or not they didn’t want a traditional wedding, that’s just not them. So, they decided to elope. They found a cozy river front location on the Columbia River Gorge, gathered a handful of their closest loved ones and tied the knot. Mercedes wore the most beautiful, custom black wedding dress. While Lucas wore a burgundy suit, the sweetest bolo tie. Their flowers were adorned with clippings from the marijuana plant they grew in their backyard together. After their ceremony the sealed their union with a smoke from their unity pipe, told you they were cool as hell!

Afterwards they had a small picnic with their friends and family drinking bear and eating delicious sandwiches from Backwoods Brewing. Grab bags were filled with treats made by Portland based bakery, Bushel & Peck.
Having an Elopement in Columbia River Gorge is never not a good idea. You have nothing but options when it comes to finding the perfect location. I’ve got a running list of locations, if you need any advice feel free to reach out to me!
