Being engaged is such a sweet and exciting time in your life, while planning a wedding can sometimes be stressful. One of the hardest parts is nailing down the best wedding venue for you and your fiancee!
Do you go for an indoor wedding venue or an outdoor wedding venue? Are you envisioning a cozy & romantic vibe? Looking for a modern venue in downtown Portland? We’re more than spoiled with unique wedding venues in Portland and having all those options can be super overwhelming!
To help with that, I’ve compiled a list of the top indoor wedding venues in Portland, Oregon just for you.
Let’s get started.
We all know Portland’s stereotypes. Our city takes pride in doing things a little different and keeping things weird. We have some of the best food the country has to offer. We prefer spending our time covered by a canopy of trees.
And it rains. Like, a lot.
According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Portland has the third most rainy or snowy days on average at 163 per year. When you’re planning your wedding in Portland, Oregon, just remember that it’s lucky if it rains on your wedding day.
Should you want to prepare for the inevitable, research and explore these indoor venues.
The Evergreen is a beautiful historic venue in SE Portland. Fully remodeled in 2015, the event space is warm & romantic with exposed beams, brick walls and gorgeous wood floors. The space can easily accommodate up to 200 for a seated dinner and up to 500 for a standing reception. If you’re hosting a more intimate reception, I would still consider this space. The Evergreen offers plenty of options for decor, tables, chairs and catering.
