The Intimate rooftop venue at The Lexington in Cambridge, MA was the perfect backdrop to this city wedding, the Boston sky completely spoiled us with the most amazing sunset as soon as we arrived at the rooftop venue.

Nothing compares to that effortlessly cool vibe of a city wedding, especially a Boston wedding. Marianna and Nick contacted me they were planning a 150+ person wedding, but of course, 2020 had other plans. Not only that, but they had to change their reception location just one day before the big day! Luckily the landed a perfect intimate rooftop venue in Cambridge for their wedding.

Truly, these two rolled with the punches with so much grace and ease. The kind of laid-back attitude I’d like to bottle up and save for an extra stressful day, you know? I knew these two were my type of people when I walked in the door and Marianna pulled me aside to tell me she was going to go ICE her future husband. Truly the only way to kick off a wedding day is to force your partner to chug a Smirnoff ice.

Favorite memory or moment from your wedding day?

Honestly the whole day…. but: Marianna – “Ice-ing” Nick! Nick (and me too) – Seeing the reception venue for the first time!

Was there a certain moment during the ceremony or reception you want to keep close forever?

Marianna – Breaking out in happy/overwhelmed tears as soon as we got past all of our guests in the church! Nick – Standing up on the altar, best man and MOH speeches

What do you love most about your wedding photos?

They captured small moments that we never would have remembered otherwise. We also love having photos that aren’t totally staged because they feel so much more organic.

What is one piece of advice you would give future couples planning their wedding?

Truly do not focus on what others are expecting out of the day! Pick your non-negotiables early on with your fiance, before you really start talking to other people about your plans. As long as you both are getting what you want, that is all that matters!

We absolutely loved working with you! You seamlessly integrated yourself into our tiny wedding day, and we are still getting compliments all the time on not only the photos we received, but also your professionalism on the day, while also just feeling like another guest at our wedding.
