Wedding at Sentinel Hotel Portland

Maribel & Andrew came up from San Francisco to get married in Maribels hometown of Portland, OR. They held their art deco inspired wedding at the beautiful Sentinel Hotel in SW Portland. These two are such a sweet pair, Andrew couldn’t wait to see his future bride walk down the aisle so at the last minute we switched gears and planned a first look before the ceremony. The moment was perfect and they both immediately felt calm and ready for the day to unfold. That seems to be the usual reaction after a first look, the calm when you finally get to see your best friend and your future spouse. The rest of the day unfolded seamlessly and was truly a wonderful celebration of their love.

The Sentinel Hotel Portland, OR Wedding Venue

The Sentinel hotel is a luxury Northwest hotel and wedding venue located on SW 11th Ave in the heart of downtown Portland . With a mix of old world elegance and modern renovations. The 100 room hotel is made up of two historic buildings, the east wing was originally built as the Seward Hotel in 1909 and the west wing was once Portland Elks Lodge in 1923.

With multiple wedding venues within the building to choose from. you are sure to find the perfect space for your luxury wedding experience. Some of the more more popular wedding venue spaces include the Grand Ballroom, the Billiard Room and the Governor Ballroom, The Renaissance Room.

The Billiard Room wedding venue:

The Billiard room is where Maribel & Andrew hosted their wedding reception. This grand venue accommodates up to 200 guests. With over 2,000 SQ FT there is plenty of room for a sit down dinner, mingling and dancing. The billiard Room has carved floral and fauna into the walls of the space. The room is painted a soft blue tone that compliments most wedding decor.

The Renaissance Room wedding venue:

The Renaissance Room is where Maribel and Andrew held their beautiful wedding ceremony. With period style arches, gold accents and chandeliers hanging from the intricate ceiling. This space is truly jaw dropping. The maximum occupancy is around 175 making it a wonderful option for your wedding day.

The Governor Ballroom wedding venue:

The Governor Ballroom is the largest wedding venue space at the Sentinel Hotel. With over 6000 SQ FT of space, you can truly make you dream wedding a reality. The Governor Ballroom is quite impressive, the space has large white columns, detailed inlay work and a historic feel. Plan a wedding reception with up to 900 guests and awe them with this downtown Portland hidden gem.

I found Andreia on Instagram and loved her whole vibe and style of photography. She is able to capture candid moments and take them to a whole new level. The pictures we received were stunning.
