On November 12th 2022 these little love birds tied the knot at one of Portlands best wedding venues, Coopers Hall. Annie & Colin met for their first look at Grand Stark Hotel, where Colin was getting ready. Located just blocks away from Coopers Hall, Grand Stark Hotel is a perfect getting ready location in SE Portland. After Annie & Colin had time to read their vows in private (with their pup!), we took a short walk over to Coopers Hall together for their ceremony.
Coopers Hall is one of my favorite wedding venues in Portland because of it’s unique charm and perfect location. Coopers Hall is one of Portland only urban wineries rooted in sustainability, good wine and good food. It’s the perfect wedding venue for wine lovers and foodies alike. The main space is surrounded by wine kegs, lush green foliage and the space floods with natural light. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph at Coopers Hall multiple times, you can read more about why I recommend Coopers Hall as a wedding venue here, and here.
To host your wedding reception at Coopers Hall you’ll have to reach a food & beverage minimum at around $4,000- $11,000 depending on the date of your event. Like most Portland wedding venues peek season is considered to be April – December. While you’ll find lower rates January – March. There is also a ceremony fee of $500. Dinner is per guest and is roughly about $65 per person and up. Open bar packages begin at around $45 a person, your final cost depends on how much was actually consumed at the end of the wedding day.
While the wedding featured here is Coopers Hall flagship location they have a total of three locations in Portland for you to consider. Each location offers the same professional offerings as their flagship SE location.
Is a warms and welcoming space perfect for smaller wedding receptions. The space features a long dining room with an open plan kitchen, a long bar, and outdoor patio with an urban feel. Rest assured that food and beverages is all provided exclusively by Coopers Hall. Seated capacity is 72 and Standing capacity is 90.
Black Door PDX
Black Door PDX is Coopers Hall’s newest addition. Perfect for a micro wedding or rehearsal dinner, this private venue is located in the Kerns neighborhood. This gallery style space boasts an open floor plan, lots of natural light and sleek aesthetic. Coopers Hall provides professional event coordination and bar services with the flexibility to choose from a list of preferred caterers for food service.
